Hej, Linda here, trevligt att träffas (nice to meet you!). I founded Folket Consultancy to meet a need I had experienced myself working in the not-for-profit sector. I often felt overwhelmed by the number of consultants you had to engage simply to deliver one project. It seemed counterproductive to engage one consultant to design and deliver workshops, then another one to set up your evaluation framework and a third to help build out a communication strategy for your work. Plus, every time you had to start over and provide context and information about your project, organisation, and goals. On top of this, the work produced by the various consultants may or may not line up depending on how well they knew the other areas of work.

With Folket, I want to simplify that journey. Folket Consultancy brings together people from a variety of skills - all within one consultancy.

The word “Folket” is a Swedish word meaning ‘folks’ (it’s pronounced Foll:kett if you want to practice your Swedish). At Folket Consultancy, we are a team of folks who all love to work on collaborative projects that create impact.

Between us, we offer expertise in evaluation, research, facilitation of workshops and community consultation, program and co-design, community and stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication.

This means the folks at Folket can support a variety of projects, end-to-end or at various times and stages. We’ve supported not-for-profit organisations, Government agencies, small business owners and large private entities.

But most importantly, we are good folks who care about you, your community, and your work.

We are problem solvers and collaborators and our projects are as diverse as our people. If you're uncertain about the specific skill sets required but recognise the need for creative problem-solving, Folket could be the right choice for you.

Maybe you are looking for an engaging facilitator? Perhaps you’re co-designing a new program or product with community and key stakeholders?

Possibly you’ve found yourself in need of a program logic, evaluation framework, or support with data collection, market research, and analysis?

Or perhaps you are looking for a communications strategy and community engagement plan for your organisation or program?

We work in collaboration with clients and always seek to enable capacity building for you and your teams. Learn more about our consultants below and reach out to set up a chat and explore how our folks can support you and your work.
